The development of enabling technologies is also necessary for the effective operation of Vertical Value Chains (VVCs), which with their focus areas represent SRIP ToP synergies. The enabling technologies in the SRIP ToP are connected in Horizontal Networks (HOM) and represent the knowledge base both for VVV in the SRIP ToP and for value chains from other SRIPs. Within the framework of the mentioned HOMs, Slovenian stakeholders with competences in the field of robotics, control technology, nanotechnology, photonics, plasma technology and modern production technologies for materials participate in the SRIP ToP. HOM stakeholders participate in SRIP ToP and other SRIPs through coordination of research and development activities, sharing of capacities, knowledge and experience, development of human resources, networking and joint representation of interests abroad.
