Vanguaard iniciativa – aktivnosti v okviru možnosti sofinanciranja

We were able to generate a lot of interests and to gather an impressive set of competences regarding many of the Calls that were selected. While we do hope this has generated many promising follow up actions already, this email is to make sure partners do embrace at the fullest these opportunities. Please therefore find below some suggestions of additional actions.

  1. First, please remember that the 3DP Pilot Online Spreadsheets (1 Sheet/Call) remain available and editable. Please find here the Spreadsheets focusing on the selected IAs and RIAs.
  • You can still indicate interest in a specific Call, highlighting your competences. In particular, please be aware that we spotted recently another Call very relevant for AM actors: HORIZON-CL4-2021-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01-31: Functional electronics for green and circular economy (RIA). This call was not part of the initial set of selected calls and is now added to the online overview ! Please find some information about the Call in the box at the bottom of this email.
  • Now that some of you might have worked further on a concept for a specific call, you can also use the online spreadsheets (see column ‘needs/what you are looking for’) to indicate and describe a specific expertise/competencies that you need in order to complement a possible consortium that you would have been developed in the meantime. In addition to indicating this in the Online Spreadsheets directly, you are invited to also contact me by email and describe your ‘request for EoI’. I can then gather these requests and circulate within the network (including within the overall 3DP Pilot, beyond those partners having participated in the Webinar).

As communicated already, partners are then invited to initiate relevant actions ‘proactively’ (i.e. contacting all/a group of interested partners, contacting a partner bilaterally, etc.): given that many of these calls do not match perfectly with the overall Pilot’s scope or with one of the Demo Cases and given that coordination resources are limited, the Board does not coordinate all the proposals’ preparations and follow up actions associated to these 10+ Calls.

  1. In addition to looking for missing expertise within our network, the 3DP Pilot Board can help you in identifying expertise outside of the network, if needed. In particular, if you are looking for some specific and complementary expertise/competencies in one of the three Calls listed below and that this expertise cannot be found in our network, we can put forward these requests on your behalf during the ‘AM Platform’ meeting. If interested, please submit these requests to jean-francois.romainville@ideaconsult.be; w.dekinderen@brainportdevelopment.nl by the 16th of April at the latest. We can then participate in the ‘AM platform’ Meeting on your behalf.
    1. HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION 01:RIA03: Laser-based technologies for green manufacturing (RIA)
    2. HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION 01:IA12: New breakthrough technologies for technological sovereignty in construction (IA)
    3. HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION 01:RIA05: Manufacturing for bio based materials (RIA)

Box 1 – HORIZON-CL4-2021-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01-31: Functional electronics for green and circular economy (RIA).

  • Expected Outcome – Projects are expected to contribute to the following outcomes:
    • European leadership in the area of flexible, printed and organic electronics
    • Development of new concepts, designs and technologies in electronics to support and enable circular economy and sustainability.
    • Development of next generation components and systems that will deliver climate neutral digital solutions for a wide range of sectors.
  • Scope – Proposals are expected to make technological breakthroughs in the development of functional electronics technologies to address the challenges and opportunities associated with green and digital transformation. Eco-design principles , in particular reduction of energy and resource consumption should be taken into account. The emphasis of this topic will be on the advancement in the area of flexible, printed and organic electronics as low cost/light- weight/less energy intensive approach to complement inorganic-based mainstream semiconductors.
